Look towards the south to spot the Milky Way, which will appear as a dense band of stars stretching across the sky. Use stargazing apps like Star Walk or SkyView to identify stars, constellations, and planets.

TIPS
Use a wide-angle lens with a low aperture (f/2.8 or lower) to capture more light. Set your ISO between 1600 and 3200, and use a long exposure time (20-30 seconds) to capture the stars and the Milky Way.
Use a tripod to keep your camera steady during long exposures. Consider using a remote shutter release or the camera’s timer to avoid any camera shake.

Day 2 Bromo Sunrise Tour and Drop

Set an alarm to wake up early, usually around 3:00 AM, to prepare for the sunrise viewing. Dress warmly and pack up any non-essential camping gear. Take down your tent and pack up all your gear. Double-check the area to make sure you haven’t left anything behind. Conduct a final sweep of the campsite to ensure it is as clean as you found it.

Leave Bromo camp and head to a nearby viewpoint such as Mount Penanjakan, King Kong Hill, or Love Hill for the best views. Around 5 AM Watch as the first light of dawn illuminates the landscape, with the smoking crater of Mount Bromo and the towering Mount Semeru in the background. The colors and shadows create a breathtaking and serene scene.

After sunrise, you can hike or drive down to the Sea of Sand and make your way to the base of Mount Bromo. Climb the 250 steps to the crater rim for an up-close view of the active volcano and its sulfurous plumes. Afterward heading to the local restaurant to breakfast and we drop you to Your next destination.
